here we are in midwinter. the weather has been so strange but predictable. everyone is settling into the new year as best they can after the winter break. Personally, I have been watching lots of kitchen nightmare’s on YouTube. I can’t really explain why but it makes me happy. I like both the American and the UK version for different reasons. I am really interested in how food shapes culture and behavior but I also, like formulaic tv (from time to time). maybe , it’s just a way to give my brain a break. sometimes, I just need that, too.
